Regulation and Safe Practice Methods Being Undertaken at Meadow End Physio Clinic to Ensure the Safety of The Patients, Physiotherapists and Staff Members.
Meadow End Physio Clinic is currently OPEN for face to face appointments, to a limited number of patients, who fit the current criteria given by our governing body. This situation will change as guidelines change. Your physiotherapist will be happy to provide telephone assessments for those who do not meet the criteria for face to face appointments. Please contact the clinic via email or leave a voicemail and your physiotherapist will respond as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding. It is important to remember that the infection prevention and control procedures are in place to lower the risk of infection, however they do not eliminate the risk, and therefore even with the greatest precaution, we cannot guarantee there is no possibility for infection for either staff or patients. Patients who choose to attend face to face consultations must accept the residual risk, and the acceptance of the risk must be clearly documented in the patient’s health record. Patients will be asked to sign a specific consent form at their initial face to face consultation.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, changes must be made to ensure the safety of everyone associated with Meadow End Physio Clinic to reduce the risk of transmission of the disease. These changes are summarised as follows: The patient must enter the building on their own. Relatives and friends must always remain outside the clinic. The patient will be collected from their car at the time of their appointment by the treating physiotherapist. Patients who walk will be asked to wait outside prior to their appointment so PLEASE do not arrive early. The session will last approximately 45 minutes and there will be a 30-minute break allocated to clean the room and equipment used before the arrival of the next patient.
Social distancing must be observed within the clinic. 2 metres distancing between persons, other than your treating physiotherapist. Patients must wash their hands thoroughly on entering the treatment room and on exiting the room. Patients will be advised to wear a face mask during treatment. Treating physiotherapist must wear appropriate PPE.
All patients will be triaged prior to attendance and commencement of treatment. Drop in patients will not be seen, patients must call 07838701171 or email josefmeadowendltd@gmail.com to arrange a consultation.
Cash will not be accepted (only on extenuating circumstances) contactless cards and devices are accepted and will be the preferred method of payment (£45 limit on cards now).
Toilets will be closed unless needed urgently.
Please do not use the premises if you have experienced symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has had symptoms in the last 4 days.
The above measures are being undertaken to minimise the spread of the virus and keep staff and members of the public safe during their visit to Meadow End Physio Clinic
